Give every request one place to live

A busy print counter can receive a PDF from one customer, a Word file from another and a photo request from a third. When files arrive through different chats or devices, it becomes easy to mix up copies, paper sizes or names.

A shared order list makes the next action visible. Record who sent the file, what it is, the requested settings and whether it is waiting for review, approved or ready. Use a request number when two customers have similar names.

Separate document printing from photo preparation

Documents often need a straightforward print decision: paper size, colour, copy count, sides and printer. Photos may need a crop, background cleanup, resize or sheet layout first. Treat these as two workflows even if they begin at the same upload page.

SNP Print accepts supported PDFs, Word documents and images through a shop-specific QR link. Document requests include print choices; images can move into Photo Studio after approval for preparation before printing.

Make the review step routine

Before sending a document to a printer, check its preview and customer instructions. Confirm that the selected printer has the right paper and supports the requested colour and sidedness. If the file is damaged or the instructions conflict, pause and clarify the order.

SNP Print keeps files and print instructions together in the shop dashboard. The Windows app lets the owner choose an installed printer for supported documents. It does not automatically route jobs to printers based on colour, so a quick manual check remains important.

Keep customers informed and files under control

An order status and estimated ready time help customers know when to return. Estimates can change, so a shop should tell a customer if a document requires a new file or a printer needs attention.
